It’s been a mild winter; the days are getting longer and the water a bit warmer.
To blow the cobwebs away, burn off some winter store and check we remember which way round the paddle goes – we are having a ‘Start of the season Big Paddle’ with a few other clubs from around the south regions: @SupwithJsup, @Bath Paddleboarding, @Saltwater SUP and a few others.
Fancy dress is optional or just wear your wetsuit ( that’s quite fancy after all !).
We will be leaving from the Riverside at Manor Road, opposite to The Swan and Anglers of Walton Pubs, and next to our base: The SUP Cave in Walton-on-Thames. will paddle for approx. 6 km upstream towards Shepparton Lock and around the Desborough Island, then back at a sociable pace, approx 90 mins.
As long as you can paddle in a straight line, it’s for you!
We will finish back at the starting point for a post paddle drink/food and discuss ideas for future club paddles, events & training.
There's on-street parking free at Manor Road.

Remember to check your kit after the winter, particularly leashes, as without one you cannot paddle 😊.
